This Accessibility Statement applies to the website donauraum.at.
Wien Holding is committed to making its websites accessible to all users in accordance with the Accessibility Act for Products and Services (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz – BaFG), Federal Law Gazette I No. 76/2023, implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on the accessibility requirements for products and services (OJ L 151, 7 June 2019, pp. 70–115).
This statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment conducted by WH Digital Services GmbH.
The above-mentioned website is partially compliant with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 due to the incompatibilities listed below.
Some content on the website does not fully meet the requirements of WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In particular, deficiencies have been identified in the areas of perceivability, operability and understandability.
For example, meaningful text alternatives are missing in some cases for images and interactive elements (e.g. icons, logos or accordion elements), which limits their usability with screen readers. In addition, some text displayed in banners does not provide sufficient colour contrast against the background, which may affect readability.
There are also limitations regarding operability: keyboard focus is not always visible or may be obscured by other elements. Furthermore, content may overlap or be cut off when displayed at high zoom levels or on screens with narrow widths.
The interactive Google Maps map embedded on the website is not fully accessible. Due to technical limitations, keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility are restricted, as we have no control over the source code of this third-party service. As an accessible alternative, all essential location and address information is provided in plain text alongside the map.
Furthermore, some link texts are not sufficiently descriptive or are not clearly identifiable by assistive technologies. In forms, error messages are not always presented in a user-friendly manner or in a way that ensures they remain clear and understandable.
Due to these existing limitations, the website is currently not fully accessible. Remedial measures to address the identified deficiencies are planned.
